I was born in Jakarta/Indonesia and decided at some stage to be a drummer. I`ve being doing that now for half a lifetime. I had the opportunity to work with some inter-nationally renowned stars in the pop and rock scene. Here I was able to live out my philosophie of life as a part of this wonderful and bizarre music world. At the start of 1999 I met an old friend who told me about Goa-parties and got me into the sound. He introduced me to Uwe from Antaris-Project. I performed later at the Antaris 1999 as "Sid Gautama on Acoustic Drums" and was infected from the sheer power of the party-sound right there during that show. When I saw Olli Wisdom perform after me I knew where I wanted to go. On New Year`s Eve 2000 I met Manfred Dilge. 4 month later we were working together on the HARA GOBI live-concept. That`s how I became the HG live-drummer. Here I could quickly and intensely feel both the "party" on stage and the crowd. This was very important for the development of my own music.
